Information Infrastructure

Critical Information Infrastructure (CII)
Owned by governments, states and organizations providing essential goods and services to their society. Such services are rendered for vital functions, development, safety, security, and well-being.
It’s imperative to protect the CII against external factors, threats which may cause debilitating impact on National security, safety, economy, and public health leading serious catastrophic impact on vital societal functions. CII do not function in isolation, they are affected by many external factors, and work in dynamic and complex environments that can exhibit high level of volatility and uncertainty.
India Government has setup a National Critical Information and Infrastructure Protection Center (NCIIPC) on January 2014 under section 70 A of IT Act 2000 though a gazette notification. As per NCIIPC, the Critical Information and Infrastructure for India comprises of Transport, Power & Energy, Telecom, Government, Banking Financial and Insurance Services, Strategic and Public Enterprises.
The role and responsibility of NCIIPC is to ensure safe, secure and resilient information infrastructure for critical sectors of Indian nation. Facilitating the necessary protective measures of CII from unauthorized access, modification, use, disclosure, disruption, incapacitation or distraction through coherent coordination, synergy and raising information security awareness among all stakeholders.
Certaim approach is prudent and practical in implementing the cyber security framework to protect and secure the Critical Information Infrastructure. We help organizations and other public sectors for ensuring a stable cyber security framework implemented and managed.
